(Volunteer Coach):
I grew up on a lake  in Michigan,  where I learned to swim at a very young age. I became a competitive swimmer on my high school swim team. I swam the 50 free, 100 free and free relays a majority of the time on my swim team. I began my journey with the KHS swim team as a swim parent in 2016, then became a volunteer coach in 2017-2018 to assist the coaches as needed.  In 2019 I came on as a full-time swim coach. I have decided to return to volunteer coaching for now, but still want to be available for when the team does need me. I have loved every moment on this journey. I believe that hard work and dedication along with the happiness you feel participating in any sport makes you a better athlete. Win or lose do it with pride and dignity. ​
